The annual ritual that engulfs families in preparations for a coming school year – new backpacks, supplies, books, and wardrobes – is also well underway as schools throughout EdisonLearning’s national network get ready to welcome students back.

On Monday, teachers and staff of Chambers High School in Homestead, Florida held their “Welcome Back Bash” – day of professional development, food, fun and games.  Looking forward to extending the streak to three consecutive years of “Commendable” ratings, Principal Dan Walke welcomed back his team.

At Main Street High in Kissimmee, another school that is looking to extend a string of “Commendable” ratings, held First Aid and CPR training in preparation of the students returning to school.
