On-site achievement support - Alliance™

It takes the right effort, not just any effort, to improve student achievement. Yet, many schools and districts often lack the necessary resources to transform low-performing schools into high-achieving institutions.

This is where EdisonLearning Alliance™ steps in, providing districts and schools with the dedicated support they need to implement our customized solutions and maintain a relentless focus on student achievement.

Unparalleled on-site support

Alliance™ is the only K-12 solution that combines a research-based design and time-tested tools with a dedicated local support team that works hand-in-hand with administrators and teachers in a collaborative partnership.

The Alliance Achievement Team has one mission – to serve the students, administrators, and teachers in the communities in which its members live and work. Staying local allows the Alliance Achievement Teams to better understand the schools and their communities and dedicate 100 percent of their time to addressing their particular needs.

The Alliance Achievement Team consists of specialists in leadership, achievement, curriculum, and instruction, all with experience in improving achievement in low-performing schools. The team works closely with school leaders and teachers to create a positive learning environment and effective school organization, review and analyze achievement data, and develop, implement, and monitor student achievement plans.

Local, personalized professional development

The Alliance Achievement Team also provides principals and teachers with ongoing, on-site professional development including local training sessions and one-on-one coaching and mentoring. The strength of the on-site Alliance Achievement Team is that it can customize the support and training it provides to specific individual needs. Unlike other professional development programs, the Alliance Achievement Team provides training, and then follows up on that training, reinforcing the lessons learned and ensuring that it makes its way back into the classroom. This key difference ensures that positive change takes place and that capacity is built within the schools.
